Water School: Essential Resources for Local Officials

Elected and appointed officials often need to make important decisions regarding the future of shared water resources. Michigan Water School program from Michigan Sea Grant and Michigan State University Extension provides decision-makers with critical, relevant information needed to understand Michigan’s water resources in order to support sound water management decisions.

While we are unable to provide in-person education at this time, Michigan Water School: Essential Resources for Local Officials is available online in four videos plus a bonus video on groundwater. In the Resources section of this website there is Water Policy Toolbox with an accompanying video explaining how to use the toolbox to find answers to water policy topics.
