Emily joined MSU Extension in 2013 and is housed at the Northwest Michigan Horticultural Research Center (NWMHRC) in Leelanau County. She provides integrated pest management (IPM) and horticultural leadership to the fruit industry by working with faculty, staff, and field based educators to help growers achieve efficient and economical tree fruit production. In addition to developing and delivering educational programs, Emily conducts grant funded applied IPM and invasive species research at the NWMHRC and on grower collaborators' farms.
