Beth Waitrovich has been an Extension Educator for Michigan State University for the past 34 years. Beth has a Masters of Education Leadership degree from Northern Michigan University and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She currently conducts programming in the areas of Food Safety and Financial Management and is housed in the Dickinson County MSU Extension office located at Bay West Campus in Iron Mountain.
Beth is a certified HUD Housing Counselor; she teaches Homeownership Education classes and offers counseling for prospective home buyers and Foreclosure Prevention counseling.
Beth is a certified ServSafe® Instructor and Proctor. She also teaches classes in food preservation ranging from water bath and steam canning, pressure canning, blanching and freezing, and dehydrating foods. Other classes in food safety she offers include: Michigan Cottage Food Law and Safe Food = Healthy Kids which provide CEU’s for licensed day care providers.
