Michigan State University Extension helps people improve their lives by bringing the vast knowledge resources of MSU directly to individuals, communities and businesses. Through close collaboration, we pursue our land-grant mission to share new knowledge across Michigan, the nation and the world. MSU AgBioResearch engages in innovative, leading-edge research that combines scientific expertise with practical experience to generate economic prosperity, sustain natural resources and enhance quality of life.
We recognize that our work is better when citizens are engaged. The MSU Extension and AgBioResearch State Advisory Council members provide regular input about emerging issues, bring forth opportunities for new collaborations and resources, and share the importance of research and educational programming with policy makers and other stakeholders. The Council was founded in 1998 to ensure MSU Extension and AgBioResearch were, and continue to be, responsive to the issues of concern in local communities and across the industry.
