MSU Extension: Becoming a Better Writer (D2L Course Pilot).
The goal of this course is to provide you with the information, tools, and strategies needed to be able to monitor and improve your own practice of writing. This is a new course in pilot that can be completed in about 2-2.5 hours of time. Please contact Anne Baker if you wish to take it and provide feedback.
The MSU Writing Center supports both MSU students and faculty/staff through the offering of workshops, writing groups, and one-on-one VIRTUAL or face-to-face appointments. They can meet with you to give you feedback and coaching on your articles, proposals, or any other professional writing. For quick writing questions, they also have chat embedded in their site. To set up an online feedback session:

Mendeley is a free reference manager and academic social network. Users can manage and organize their references, create and share annotations, collaborate with other users, and discover new content in their areas of interest. You will want to download the desktop version and the Word plug-in, which allows you to add references you have added. The MSU Library Research Guide on Mendeley provides an overview and installation information. The video below highlights what it can do.
