    At 4-H Animal & Vet Science Camp, youth ages 13-17 explore the fields of animal and veterinary science and engage in interactive, hands-on learning. Attend for your chance to practice veterinary medicine, research zoonotic conditions and discover careers!

  • 4-H Animal Evaluation

    4-H animal evaluation allows young people to explore animal science by learning to evaluate livestock project animals such as beef cattle, sheep and swine.

  • 4-H Beef Production & Management

    4-H livestock projects, including beef, provide great opportunities for youth to learn about animal and veterinary science, as well as animal production practices while gaining valuable life skills such as responsibility and record-keeping.

  • 4-H Biological Science

    Youth explore the broad scope of biological science through real-life scenarios and educational opportunities about life and living processes. Topics vary widely from aquatic science to veterinary science.

  • 4-H Capacity Building for Youth Development Programs

    Tools and trainings for volunteer managers in youth development programs, youth development staff, and adult and teen volunteers who work with 4-H and other youth development programs.

  • 4-H Capitol Experience

    4-H Capitol Experience is an annual four-day conference that helps prepare youth for active citizenship by focusing on civic engagement and public policy.

  • 4-H China Project

    Conducted in cooperation with the People’s Republic of China, the Michigan 4-H China Project is a global education program that allows youth to explore another culture while communicating with their peers across the globe through visual letters.

  • 4-H Citizenship & Tribal Citizenship Academies

    High school-aged youth take a hands-on approach to learning about democracy at the local level by seeing firsthand how local, county and tribal governments work.

  • 4-H Clothing & Textiles

    Youth explore the world of wardrobes and fashion while learning the essentials of personal appearance, the importance of body image, and how to be a smart buyer.
